Local SEO

The work that puts you in the map pack when someone in your area searches for what you sell, and keeps you there.

How it works

Four steps, about six weeks.

You are involved at two points, the call at the start and the review before launch. The rest is my job.

STEP 01

Discovery call

Fifteen minutes on what you sell, who buys it, and what the site needs to do. You leave with a straight answer, not a follow-up sequence.

STEP 02

Plan and sitemap

A fixed quote, a page-by-page plan, keyword targets for both languages, and a launch date. Nothing starts until you approve it.

STEP 03

Design and build

Design first, then build, with a staging link you can watch fill in. Two rounds of revisions are included at each stage.

STEP 04

Launch and grow

I handle DNS, redirects, Search Console and analytics. Then we watch the first ninety days and adjust what the data says to adjust.

Questions

The things everyone asks first.

It depends on how many pages you need, whether it is bilingual, and how much copywriting is involved. You get a fixed number in writing before any work begins, and if the scope does not change, neither does the number. Tell me what you have in mind and I will send a quote within one business day.

Around 1-2 weeks for a standard bilingual site, from the day content is in hand. The most common delay is waiting on photos and text from your side, so I will give you a simple checklist up front to keep that moving.

Written. French pages get their own keyword research because people here search differently than a translation tool assumes. Each language gets its own URL, its own meta title and description, and proper tags so Google serves the right one.

Yes. I work with businesses throughout New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador. Everything can be handled by phone and video if driving out is not practical.

Often, yes. If the foundation is sound, a rescue project covering speed, SEO, mobile layout and conversion fixes costs a fraction of a rebuild. I will tell you honestly which one you need, including when the answer is to leave it alone for now.

You do. Domain, hosting and files stay registered in your name, and I will hand over every login. If you ever move to another provider, nothing is locked down and nothing needs to be rebuilt.
